Toronto, 18th of July, 2016 – Louis yves LeBEAU, Eng., M.Eng., PQS, Founding President of MACOGEP, was elected to chair the Canadian Association of Consulting Quantity Surveyors (CACQS). Thus he will continue to be involved in the organisation, after having been Vice-President during the previous year. The other nominees for the 2016-2017 Executive Committee are Arif Ghaffur from the firm Lakeland Consulting, as Vice-President, Joe Pendlebury from Rider Levett Bucknall, as Treasurer, and Donny Afonso from Pelican Woodcliff, as Secretary. The member firms of the CACQS offer independent consulting Quantity Surveying services, and at least one of their senior directors or officers should either hold a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation, or be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Pioneer in project management, Louis yves LeBEAU taught the profession for 12 years in universities. Recognized for its expertise, he is invited as a speaker and is often asked to act before the Court as an expert witness in project management and construction.
