We are honored to announce significant leadership transitions at Macogep, including the appointment of Maxime‑Émilien LeBEAU as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
New CEO
With 17 years of experience in various roles within Macogep, Maxime‑Émilien LeBEAU now assumes leadership of the company founded by his father, Louis yves LeBEAU, a well‑known figure in the Québec business community.
“Maxime‑Émilien has demonstrated that he possesses the skills required to lead all operations, ensure the execution of the company’s strategy, and support the firm’s overall performance,” said Louis yves LeBEAU.
Creation of an executive committee
The company’s founder will continue to play a key role in its governance. Louis yves LeBEAU will serve as Chair of the Executive Committee, a newly created body mandated to ensure the continuation of strong governance practices within the organization and to act as an ambassador to internal and external stakeholders.
The Executive Committee is also composed of two long‑standing experts within the company: Charles Aboukhaled and Stéphane Grégoire.
They will maintain a close collaboration with the new CEO on strategic alignment, monitoring approved directions, managing risks and opportunities, as well as overseeing major financial, organizational, and structural orientations.
Two new Vice Presidents
At the same time, Macogep announces the appointment of Sami Chalhoub as First Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Chalhoub has over 20 years of experience in large‑scale project controls internationally, across the industrial, residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.

The founder of Macogep, Louis-Yves LeBEAU, congratulated the new leadership team:
“These appointments are the result of a thorough and forward‑looking reflection on Macogep’s future. With our new leadership team, we will continue to pursue Macogep’s mission: to build a sustainable future with confidence,” concluded Mr. LeBEAU.
