Governance and methods

Mr. ABOUKHALED, engineer, started out his career as a project leader in the transport, infrastructures and building sectors. Thereafter, he specialized in governance and project management methods.

He carried out several mandates in value analysis, projects audit reports and risk analysis. In addition, he is accredited by the Treasury Board Secretariat for due diligence review of important infrastructures projects worth more than 40 million dollars.

He excels in minimizing the impact of a contractual dispute with his able negotiator skills. His upstream contribution in a project reduces risks of litigation. He has appeared multiple times before the courts as an expert witness.

His outstanding skill in communication makes him a speaker in demand for project management and contractual relationship conferences in the construction sector. Moreover, he works as a lecturer at Polytechnique Montréal where he teaches project management.

Vice-president and associate at Macogep, Mr. ABOUKHALED leads important mandates. He is head of the Governance Department as well.
