With its 6,000 employees and over 36,000 students, the Université de Montréal (Montreal University) ranks in the top-10 Canadian Universities. The Project Management and Engineering Division is undertaking construction works on various sites all over the several campuses – Montreal, Laval and Saint-Hyacinthe – and to complete those projects, has appointed a Project Management firm for a 3-year contract. The Division planned several simultaneous projects, some of which estimated at more than $15 M. The portfolio included:

• Interior fit-up: classrooms, meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, rest rooms, laboratories, change rooms, kitchens, etc.;
• Services: air conditioning, electricity, security and access control, elevators, freight elevators, etc.;
• Structure and building envelopes: masonry, windows, facades, etc.;
• Equipment and furniture: installation of fixed and mobile furniture;
• Special constructions, including a thermal generating station.
