A major actor in the fit-up of Montreal, the Service des grands parcs, du verdissement et du Mont-Royal (Large Parks and Greening) preserves the city’s environment with an integrated development approach, creativity and innovation, along with renowned principles in sustainable development. Major architecture works of various types are planned: new buildings, renovations, rehabilitation, demolitions, various fit-up projects around existing buildings, electricity, surveillance, etc. In order to complete those works at the lowest possible costs while meeting the best possible conditions, the City hired cost estimates specialists.

Up to date, Macogep has completed costs estimates for:

  • Fit-up of a great park, Place Vauquelin ($14.7 M);
  • Reconstruction of lookouts, footbridges and paths a the Parc-nature of Bois-de-l’Île-Bizard ($11 M);
  • Redevelopment, Square Dorchester ($9.1 M);
  • Fit-up of the Saint-Laurent and Jarry entrance at Parc Jarry ($4 M);
  • Execution of Package 1A of the Escales découvertes (Discovery Halts) on the Mont-Royal ($3.5 M).
