Nouvel édifice HEC Montréal

Construction of a new business downtown HEC Montréal building

  • Quantity Surveying

This building will cover part of a land neighboring Saint-Patrick’s basilica, between Beaver Hall and Saint-Alexandre Street, downtown Montréal. The new building is planned to have a raw surface of 24,500 sq. m on three to eight levels, along with a 100-space underground parking covering 4,650 sq. m. The building will mostly offer top of the edge classrooms from 30 to 150 seats, a conference centre, a 300-seat amphitheater, spaces for research, several meeting and conference rooms of various sizes, along with closed or opened offices for the school’s personnel.

With this new building, HEC Montréal aims to:

  • Increase its offer with regard to distinctive and specialized programs in management, in French;
  • Get closer to the business community;
  • Provide an easier access to workers in downtown Montréal so they can benefit from HEC Montréal programs;
  • Improve its exchanges with institutional partners and create a transfer and co innovation hub, for the benefit of business growth.
