The Des Laurentides Integrated Health and Social Services Centres (CISSS), north of Montreal, was created in 2015, grouping 13 health care service points in 80 buildings. The territory serves 595,000 citizens.

The CISSS has 13,500 employees, 390 managers, 1,000 doctors and 1,100 volunteers.

Specialized medical care is offered to the Laurentides’ population, as well as parts of nearby Laval and Lanaudière populations. Construction and renovation works must be done to upgrade the buildings, and to adapt to the latest technologies and practices in medical care.
