Rehabilitation and upgrading of Montreal Courthouse
The courthouse of Montreal – a 17-floor building – must be partially renovated to meet some of the ministry’s new needs. Macogep must estimate the costs involved in renovating hearing rooms, putting in a new air conditioning system and bringing the courthouse up to standard. Before proceeding, Macogep must promptly determine the scope of the asbestos removal work as well as necessary restoration costs in order to immediately adjust the budget accordingly. Objectives achieved: project costs are under control and several components have even been optimized.
