The Société du Parc-Jean-Drapeau and the City of Montreal are undertaking the restoration and expansion of the pavilion to install a luxury haute cuisine complex. In addition to the restaurant, it also includes a cooking school, caterer and reception hall. As part of its project and construction management mandate, Macogep must revise the budget, coordinate designers reporting to the operator, coordinate contractors specializing in demolition and asbestos removal of the structures, while endeavouring to preserve the building’s heritage qualities. Macogep must also coordinate the work without disrupting events that take place at Jean Drapeau Park, such as the F1 Grand Prix.
