Fire Stations Renovation and Restoration Program

The Montreal Fire Department is renovating and upgrading over 400 fire stations, many of which considered “heritage”. Interventions spread on a total 40,000 sq. ft. surface.

The programs ensures that buildings are in compliance with the Fire Department standards. It includes:

  • Reconstruction of fire station 52 in Baie d’Urfé;
  • Various works in fire stations 19, 34, 37, 40, 41, 49, 72, 78 and 57;
  • Expansion of fire stations 56 and 67;
  • Renovation of fire stations 3, 5, 9, 16, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42, 44, 45, 46, 50, 53, 54, 58, 64, 65 and 66;
  • Renovation of headquarters and training centre of the Fire Department
