The Dorval interchange is an important intermodal node joining several transport corridors: freight trains, passenger trains, public transit, car traffic and truck freight.

The project consists of a complete reconfiguration of the interchange in order to streamline passenger and freight traffic, improve passenger safety and to allow the creation of a rail shuttle linking downtown Montreal and the Montreal Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport.

The project consists of:

  • building five overpasses;
  • reconfiguring several highway ramps;
  • construction of a railway line;
  • building a new boulevard.
