Rapibus wins the AQTR Infrastructure Prize
Gatineau Rapibus system won the Infrastructures Prize from the Association québécoise des transports (AQTR) on Wednesday June 18th as part of the Gala des Grands prix d’excellence en transports de l’AQTR.
The bus rapid transit system means sustainable mobility and free flow of traffic. It enables the users to combine bicycle and bus.
It is the first public transit system certified by the Kyoto protocol.
Macogep contributed to this unique infrastructure in Québec. The system is operational since 2013. The firm was in charge of the project management on behalf of the Société de transport de l’Outaouais.
